Last year 8,000 people visited the salon, making it one of the most popular events held in Provins. Again this year, we expect about sixty exhibitors and just as many specialties to be offered by artisans from both the Provins area and other regions of France.

The salon has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which you can discover, taste, and buy the wonders of French cuisine, and in particular traditional products from Provins.
Producers will be present to remind us, if need be, that good food is not possible without good ingredients

the provins book fair

Simone Veil, a charismatic and well-known member of the Académie Française, will chair the Provins Book Salon, which is organized by “Encres Vives.”

This salon will bring together over seventy writers, including very prestigious ones, as well as several publishing houses.
Children and teenagers alike will love it!

The salon will highlight the very diverse literature for young people: thirty writers and illustrators will attend. This will include the intercultural publishing house HONGFEÏ CULTURES, which specializes in publishing Chinese literature books for young people that have been illustrated by French artists, thereby allowing them to discover two original universes

educational farm of Saint-Hilliers

A guided tour with a specialist to discover farm animals in a typically Brie setting, at 7 km far away from Provins: poultry, chicks, cows, horses, sheeps, goats, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, etc.
You can assist the birth of a small chick, collect eggs in the henhouse, milk one goat, give to eat and stroke animals.

the Farm de la Mercy in Chenoise

It is a farm in service at only 10 km far away from Provins.
You can discover farmer's occupations give to eat and stroke animals: rabbits, sheeps, chicks, cows, pigs and all sort of palmipeds.
Numerous workshops complete the visit like how to prepare bread or how to shear a sheep, etc.

Length: 2 hours or all day long.
Guided tour on booking (from 15 persons), except in winter.
