About
The association "Les Orgues de Provins" invites you to this harpsichord recital, a stringed musical instrument quite different from the piano!
Born into a family of musicians, Bertrand Cuiller began playing the harpsichord at the age of 8 with his mother.
Meeting with Pierre Hantaï, who became her mentor when he was 13, studying with Christophe Rousset at the Paris Conservatoire, and winning third prize at the Bruges International Harpsichord Competition in 1998, Bertrand Cuiller went on to become a renowned harpsichordist, experimenting and collaborating extensively.
He is particularly fond of the English composers William Byrd and John Bull, whom he will be delighted to introduce to you alongside works by Frescobaldi, Scarlatti, Rameau and Bach.
A collection will be organised at the end of the recital.
