A key figure on the Caribbean music scene, Thierry Vaton has spent over thirty years crafting a refined musical world where tradition and innovation engage in a dialogue of remarkable freedom. At the piano and Fender Rhodes, he displays a playing style of great finesse, blending subtle harmonies, captivating rhythms, and eloquent silences.
Together with Tony Chasseur, he presents *Bel Matjoukann* ("Beautiful Heritage"), a project inspired by the spirit of Creole jazz that celebrates connection, sharing, and the passing on of traditions. Drawing on Creole influences, contemporary jazz, and world music, the two artists weave a musical dialogue that is both generous and deeply human.
