Rencontres de Provins - Arts and Crafts Fair

As part of the European Heritage Days, the ‘Provins Métiers d'Art’ association is presenting the first edition of its beautiful event, dedicated to crafts and arts and crafts!

It's a fair where you can share and exchange ideas, and get up close to, understand and demonstrate the richness, diversity and technical nature of a wide range of skills:

Embroidery, framing, leatherwork, photography, stained glass, chantournage, ceramics, millinery, cabinetmaking, graphic design, bookbinding, illumination, jewellery, lighting, plastic arts, illustration, macramé and blacksmithing.

It's an original concept that's taking place all over the town: firstly, in the exhibition space at the Hôtel de Savigny, where 15 craftspeople are waiting for you... and secondly, in the 16 participating shopkeepers who are welcoming artists and craftspeople into their establishments!

Demonstrations and introductions to the tools and manufacturing processes will also be on offer.
